In the trend toward ‘chemical-free’ cleaning, essential oils have emerged as an ideal alternative to traditional disinfectants due to their natural antimicrobial properties and volatile aromas. Their terpenes and phenols effectively inhibit harmful microorganisms while avoiding the risk of chemical residues.
Multi-Scene Cleaning Solutions
- Kitchen Odour Removal: Mix 5 drops of lemon essential oil, 10g of baking soda, and 200ml of water. Shake well and spray onto countertops. Limonene (65%) breaks down grease and smoke odours, with a 96% antibacterial rate against E. coli;
- Clothing disinfection: Add 3 drops of tea tree essential oil + 2 drops of lavender essential oil during laundry. After washing, Staphylococcus aureus residue on fabrics is <10 CFU/g, while leaving a natural fresh scent;
- Air purification: Add 3 drops of eucalyptus essential oil + 2 drops of lemon essential oil to a humidifier. It has an 89% removal rate for bacteria attached to PM2.5, suitable for flu season or households with pets.
Environmental technology upgrade
Our cleaning-specific essential oils utilise ‘microencapsulation technology,’ encapsulating the oils within β-cyclodextrin (particle size 150 nm). Upon contact with water, the active components are released, with stability improved by 8 times and no free essential oil residues remaining. For example, encapsulated tea tree oil retains 92% of its antibacterial activity in laundry detergent (compared to 65% in traditional formulations).
Safety Data
Oral toxicity testing (LD50 > 5000 mg/kg) shows no toxicity, and the skin irritation index (PII) is <0.1, making it suitable for use in households with infants and young children.
