    NIKOO's PEG-30 Dipolyhydroxystearate (INCI: *PEG-30 Dipolyhydroxystearate*, CAS 827596-80-5) is a high-purity, solvent-free polymeric emulsifier engineered to create exceptionally stable water-in-oil (W/O) emulsions. With its unique molecular structure and optimized HLB value of 5.5, this specialty ingredient delivers low-viscosity, flowable textures that spread effortlessly on skin, imparting a lightweight, non-greasy finish—ideal for luxury skincare, sunscreens, and functional cosmetics



    Product Properties


    It emulsifies various oils and is resistant to high electrolytes and ethanol. It can prepare W/O emulsions with a 90% aqueous phase and can incorporate high solids content. High-temperature emulsification is recommended, making it suitable for formulations incorporating multiple active ingredients. This superior water-in-oil emulsifier offers excellent cost-performance and excellent cold and hot stability.


    It enables the production of high-internal-phase emulsions. Emulsions with internal phase concentrations exceeding 90% can be easily emulsified without requiring specialized production requirements. These emulsions typically have a wider particle size distribution, ranging from 0.4 to 4 mm, and a high viscosity suitable for creams. The viscosity of these high-internal-phase emulsions remains stable with increasing temperature, making them ideal for applications exposed to high temperatures, such as sunscreens. For pure silicone oil emulsions, it can be used as a co-emulsifier in conjunction with silicone co-polyols to enhance the stability of the emulsion and simplify the emulsification process.
