    Product Overview

    Potassium cetyl phosphate is a natural phospholipid emulsifier with excellent water-resistant film-forming properties and excellent emulsifying and dispersing properties. It can be used as an emulsifier to easily achieve a silky skin feel. It is suitable for skin care creams and lotions, BB creams, sunscreens, etc.


    Cetyl Phosphate Potassium is derived from the neutralization of natural cetyl alcohol and phosphoric acid. It appears as a white, slightly yellowish powder that dances gracefully in water (water-soluble) while also being able to interact seamlessly with oils (emulsify). This dual nature makes it a versatile tool for formulators, making it particularly suitable for creating cleansers that are friendly to sensitive skin.

    Emulsifier: Used as a primary or secondary emulsifier in cosmetics, typically at a dosage of 1% to 5%, it enhances emulsion stability and improves skin feel.

    Gentle cleansing power: As an anionic surfactant, it creates a fine lather without the exfoliating effects of soap, leaving skin feeling smooth after washing.

    Synergizing aid: It helps other active ingredients penetrate better, providing a seamless pathway for nutrients.



    Compared to traditional cleansing ingredients, its pH value is closer to the skin's slightly acidic environment, preventing it from damaging the skin barrier. Laboratory data shows that cleansers containing 10% of this ingredient provide moderate cleansing power, maintaining ideal skin hydration after rinsing. In makeup remover formulas, it easily removes light makeup without requiring repetitive rubbing, making it particularly suitable for sensitive skin.
