    Tranexamic Acid (INCI: Tranexamic Acid, CAS 1197-18-8), also known as Transamic Acid or Kojic Acid, is a high-purity synthetic lysine derivative engineered for precision applications in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and industrial sectors. As a white crystalline powder (≥99% HPLC purity), it offers exceptional water solubility (>100g/L at 20°C) and stability, making it ideal for formulations demanding rigorous efficacy and safety standards


    Tranexamic acid is a protease inhibitor widely used in a range of whitening products designed to inhibit melanin and prevent the formation of pigmentation spots. Compared to traditional whitening ingredients, tranexamic acid exhibits a more stable effect. It inhibits the catalytic effect of proteases on peptide bond hydrolysis, thereby blocking the activity of enzymes such as inflammatory proteases. This in turn suppresses the dysfunction of epidermal cells in the area of dark spots. It also inhibits the melanin-enhancing factor complex, completely shutting off the pathway for melanin formation caused by UV exposure. This prevents dark spots from deepening, expanding, or increasing in size, effectively preventing and improving skin pigmentation.
