Building on the raw materials, creating perfume is an art form akin to composing music or painting. The perfumer ("le nez" - the nose) acts as both chemist and artist, blending dozens, sometimes hundreds, of ingredients to construct a harmonious and evolving scent journey – the fragrance pyramid.

This pyramid isn't just a theoretical concept; it's the blueprint for the scent's unfolding narrative on the skin:

• Top Notes: The crucial first impression. Bright, volatile accords (bergamot, lemon, mint, light aldehydes) are chosen to be immediately appealing and inviting. They are the "hook," designed to capture attention but deliberately ephemeral.
• Heart Notes: The true identity emerges here. This is where the core theme blossoms – a lush bouquet (rose, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley), a spicy warmth (cinnamon, clove, pepper), a green vibrancy (galbanum, violet leaf), or an aromatic freshness (lavender, rosemary).
