Product Overview:
Ceramides are naturally occurring lipids in the skin that form a waterproof barrier, keeping skin hydrated and supple. However, ceramide NP (ceramide 3) is highly crystalline, poorly soluble in water and most oils, and tends to recrystallise during storage – limiting its bioavailability and formulation stability.

NK‑L1003 solves these challenges using advanced phospholipid liposome technology. Vitamin E (a powerful antioxidant) and cholesterol are first incorporated into phospholipid liposomes that mimic skin cell membranes. Ceramide NP is then encapsulated within these liposomes, and the entire system is processed into a stable, milky liposome dispersion. This delivery system:

• Enhances skin penetration – liposomes fuse with the stratum corneum, delivering actives deep into the epidermis.

• Prevents recrystallisation – ceramide remains solubilised and bioavailable.

• Protects against oxidation – vitamin E provides additional antioxidant support.
