Product Overview:
Elastin is the “human rubber” that gives skin its ability to stretch and snap back. As we age, intrinsic factors and UV exposure degrade elastic fibres, leading to sagging, wrinkles, and loss of firmness. Natural elastin is insoluble, difficult to formulate, and carries viral/contamination risks.
rhELP (Recombinant Human Elastin Peptide) solves these problems. Using gene engineering, we synthesise a human‑source elastin‑like peptide based on the characteristic VAPGVG hexapeptide repeats found in human tropoelastin. The result is a water‑soluble, low molecular weight (25‑35 kDa), high‑purity peptide with excellent bioactivity and no animal‑derived impurities.
| Benefit | Mechanism |
|---|---|
| 🧬 Restores elasticity | Mimics natural elastin structure – replenishes degraded elastic fibres |
| ✨ Anti‑wrinkle & firming | Promotes keratinocyte migration & differentiation, reduces fine lines |
| 🔬 Stimulates collagen | Activates IGF‑1 receptor, upregulates elastin & collagen expression |
| 🧫 Cell regeneration | Chemotactic to fibroblasts – promotes proliferation & secretion of ECM components |
| 🛡️ Barrier enhancement | Strengthens epidermal barrier, reduces transepidermal water loss |
| 🌿 Anti‑glycation & photoprotection | Protects against sugar‑induced damage and UV‑induced elastin degradation |

Proven Efficacy (in‑vitro & mechanism‑based):
Promotes keratinocyte migration & differentiation → reduces epidermal atrophy, smooths fine lines
Activates IGF‑1 receptor → upregulates elastin and collagen I/III synthesis
Chemotactic to fibroblasts → stimulates proliferation and ECM secretion
Anti‑glycation – reduces damage from advanced glycation end‑products (AGEs)
Anti‑photoaging – protects elastic fibres from UV‑induced degradation
Formulation Guidelines:
Dosage: 0.5 – 5.0% (start at 1‑2% for serums/creams)
Addition: Add to water phase at <50°C (cool‑down phase)
pH stability: 5.0 – 7.0
Compatibility: Works synergistically with collagen, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and peptides
Applications:
Anti‑aging & firming creams, wrinkle‑repair serums, skin regeneration masks, eye contour gels, post‑procedure repair products, and hair strengthening formulas.
rhELP – Genuine human‑source elastin peptide that restores the “spring” in your skin.
